2015 in MIM-Kyiv at a Glance
06 January 2016
2015 was very fruitful for MIM-Kyiv. We welcomed guest and students and awarded 250 new MIM alumni their degrees and certificates. Ukrainian and international faculty, experts, entrepreneurs, and dignitaries taught their courses and presented their ideas. “Management Studies”, “Management Café”, “Marketing Café”, “HR Café”, “Management Technologies 2.0” and other series attracted numerous participants. 2015 was a year of success. Our MBA programs and the school itself were ranked #1 by the Eduniversal, global ranking agency. 2015 was a year when AMBA awarded its accreditation thus making MIM the only school in Ukraine which has 2 international accreditations.
MIM expanded its global network. In addition to the long-term and very fruitful cooperation with the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, the US and IMD, Switzerland and Michael Porter’s Institute for Strategy & Competitiveness at Harvard University, the USA MIM added new partnerships with the Stellenbosch Business School from South Africa. The school has become the basis for the international modules of the SE MBA class. In addition, MIM signed partnership agreements with EADA Business School and Pearson, the world’s learning company and joined Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA). Joining the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the oldest and the most representative organization of business education. It makes MIM the only Ukrainian business school which is the member of 3 international business education associations.
As we are striving to impact the whole society MIM organized several important events in 2015. We conducted 2 international forums on change management in which Dr. Ichask Adizes, one of the most reputable business-consultants was a key-note speaker. Those events promoted better managerial standards in the uncertain times.
Cooperation with the Adizes Graduate School inspired us to launch its innovative “Change Management” PMD program. Another new program was MBA in PA which has been delivered together with Gari Korogodsky, a well-known Ukrainian entrepreneur.
2015 was a year when MIM has established itself as a public-private international dialogue platform. In particular, MIM hosted events for the oil and gas, agricultural and SMB sectors. “Agrarian Education Reform” roundtables brought together science, policies, and innovation. Series of events aimed at the implementation of Ukraine–European Union Association Agreement gathered together Ukrainian ministers, European countries ambassadors, EU diplomats, and international business people.
MIM-Kyiv alumni community got even more knit together. More than 150 people visited this year’s Alumni Forum to discuss the latest social and business trends.
Thank you, 2015! Welcome, 2016!
