TRANSFER TO GREEN: MIM-KYIV HOSTS THE ROUND TABLE ON ENERGY

MIM-Kyiv hosted the round on renewable energy organized by the Agency of Renewable Energy Association and Global 100% RE Ukraine association. The future of “green” energy, the role of civic associations in shaping the energy sector public policy, the latest technologies' impact on the energy independence of Ukraine were the focal points of the discussion.
“We believe that the world needs 100% of green energy. The latest technologies and innovations make us all optimistic about the affordability of green energy especially compared with fossil fuels. We are lucky to have good partners, in particular MIM-Kyiv. It is the place for discussions and innovative decision-making. Good business education promotes green energy decisions implementation. MIM-Kyiv is the place with the intellectual and research resources needed for the green transition,” Oleksandr Dombrovsky, the chairman of the Global 100% RE Ukraine said.
Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM-Kyiv’s president underlined the mutually beneficial nature of such cooperation: “There is no good business school without an impact on the domestic and international communities. Green energy is one of the items on the agenda. I appreciate our partnership. Our today’s discussion is important for the future of business.”
The participants discussed the current situation in solar, wind, and hydrogen energy, reviewed the legislation, government plans, and the role of civic organizations in the energy sector.
