24 April 2019We bridge the skills gap in the market.
Skills lack is one of the worst problems in Ukrainian real estate market. Until recently no specialized management training programs were available in for the industry. Therefore, MIM-Kyiv and URE Club association launched Real Estate School, their joined initiative. “The 24-week program was tough. It featured group projects, internships and access to the vibrant business community,” Olga Solovey, URE Club managing partner said.
The program was aimed at developing the comprehensive approaches for the industry. “When a person manages commercial property he/she should pay attention to the wide range of issues, such as properties’ targeted customers, investment potential, pricing, sales mechanisms, legal issues, financial management just to mention a few, ” Oleksiy Vynogradov, MIM-Kyiv vice president said.
Students’ success was assessed by business planning. Each student had to present his/her business plan which included marketing strategy, sales vehicles, investment potential assessment, etc.
