On April 15 Mayors School initiated by the Western NIS Enterprise Fund kicked off. MIM-Kyiv runs this program in which local authorities from Kyiv, Poltava, Rvne, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk and Zakarpattya oblasts (regions) take part. Mayors lead 6 out of 11 teams admitted for the program, 5 teams are led by the candidates to the mayors’ offices.

Admission committee consisted of Mr. Ruslan Rokhov from the Western NIS Enterprise Fund, Ms. Iryna Ozymuk and Mr. Victor Kryvenko, People’s Deputies to Verkhovna Rada (MP), Dr. Vadym Saveliev and Dr. Illya Novoseltsev, MIM-Kyiv faculty, and Ms. Valeria Ilyina from StarLightMedia group.
Prof. Iryna Tykhomyrova together with Mr. Ruslan Rokhov, Mr. Mr. Victor Kryvenko and Mr. Valery Pekar from the “Nova Kraina” (the new country) civil society platform welcomed the program participants. Prof. Tykhomyrova said that it was the first experience of the kind when business school faculty shared their management experience. “Our faculty will answer the question How to,” said she. “We will discuss financial reporting; raising capital, team motivation and many other important issues. MIM-Kyiv will provide the best business expertise.”
