NEW BUSINESS FOR VACCINATION: HOW MIM-KYIV STUDENT ENCOURAGES VACCINATION IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES

02 September 2021

– I want people to be healthy, earn their living, my business to function, and me to fulfill my obligations, Oleh Hardin, MIM-Kyiv SE MBA student and founder of the Premier Socks company says.

He decided to encourage vaccination after he had got his jabs. Oleh hoped that his example would make others follow suit. However, people were scared by anti-vaccinators and lacked information. So, he decided to start with those who live in the communities where the Premier Socks manufacturing sites are located.

– Unfortunately, numerous anti-vaccinators pseudo-experts who do not have any medical or life science background tell tales about how bad vaccination is. I believe expert opinions of healthcare professionals and our Ministry of Public Health. That’s why I fully support vaccination, Oleh explains.

Due to his efforts, medical teams came to vaccinate employees on-site. Although not everyone agreed at first, most were pushed for vaccination. The company provides transportation for those who decided to get jabs later.

Oleh mentioned that his initiatives brought him some business from private clinics. Manufacturers from other regions are considering following the example set by Premier Socks.
