THOUSAND VETERANS GET FREE PLACES IN MIM-KYIV’S COURSE ON MACROECONOMICS

01 February 2023

A thousand veterans can get acquainted with the fundamentals of macroeconomics at the course delivered by Mykhailo Kulhar, a MIM-Kyiv professor for free. The Ukraine Economic Outlook, the think tank run by Mykhailo raised the necessary amount at their annual conference.

The course for veterans is very similar to the course taught in the MBA program at MIM-Kyiv. However, to make it easier, it does not contain too many mathematical models.

The course is for those veterans who are launching their own businesses, starting political activities, or joining local authorities. The acquired knowledge help to understand trends and events in Ukraine, and how it interacts with the world through such financial institutions as the Central Bank or International Monetary Fund.

- I am teaching “live” for several groups. No recordings will be used. I am looking forward to interacting with them and receiving their feedback to fine-tune the course. Offering useful knowledge and skills is the least we can do for our army, Mykhailo shared his expectations.

When applying the candidates should explain why they need the course because it is time intensive. “If you are interested in the topic, I will deliver the rest,” Mykhailo said.

The course will be launched immediately after the victory to give the opportunity to study to those who are fighting on the front line now. “The war is a difficult time for teaching because you should share your energy and stay positive for your students no matter what the news is. I admire all those who are studying at MIM now,” Mykhailo mentioned. You can apply here.
