TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES AS CUSTOMERS: HR MANAGEMENT DYNAMIC DISCUSSION ON MIM-TV

All Ukrainians are traumatized nowadays. People are stressed and are looking for more sensitivity.

Serhii Bidenko, crisis and reputation management advisor shared his impressions about the changes in people’s expectations and needs. He spoke of how those changes could be managed.

- We are striving for sensitivity whether we are at home or staying abroad. We traumatized. No wonder, each contact may end up poorly. The companies should take care of the employees. It is a wrong time for the strict rules, but we need to keep things in order. As managers we’d better recommend and support instead of instructing and giving orders, Serhii Bidenko explained.

In his opinion, the wording has always been important however, it is critical. That’s why the relations in the team and ways of interactions need to be altered.

- Think about how you would deal with your customers. Try the same approach to your team members rather than people who have to obey your orders. Changing the perspective helps to show sensibility and helps to prevent unnecessary confrontation. Problems require solutions more than arguments. Solved problems help to create a new reality. You and your team can reach it with empathy, sensitivity, and care.
