MIM-KYIV AND PRO BONO CLUB UKRIANE LAUNCH SECOND JOINT PROJECT МВА 4 НКО

12 October 2022

An ideal synergy of business and non-profit organizations is here. MIM-Kyiv and Pro Bono Club Ukraine launched the second МВА 4 НКО project. MIM-Kyiv will contribute its expertise to help small and medium social businesses. Five mentees were selected from nearly 30 organizations.

- It did not take us long to select the organizations. Based on our previous experience we focused on small and medium socially oriented organizations. We see our mission in identifying the key impediment to the organizations’ objectives, Oleksandr Sudarkin, MBA program director explains.

The five selected organizations work in various areas. They are:

Inspiration Family Charity Fund supporting cancer patients;

Fin4youth School of Financial Literacy teaches fundamentals of finance to children and young adults fundamentals of finance;

Lada, a maternity support club offering psychological assistance to pregnant women;

Regional Development Agency for Vinnytsia Oblast promoting its development through attracting investments and improvement of business environment and reputation of the region;

Tarilka is the first food bank in Lviv with volunteers collecting food and creating food sets to be distributed for free among those who need them.

- The organizations' challenges require the expertise of operational managers. Many operational managers are taking MBA programs to facilitate careers or change their trajectories. They need to be able to identify the issues and learn about the new areas fast. That’s why the project is good for honing our students’ skills. The students pick up the organizations and find the solutions in groups, Oleksandr Sudarkin adds.

In several months will share the results and present the findings.
