ReInforceUA: a MIM’s nationwide project to strengthen Ukraine

We have always emphasized that education works for the future. And nowadays, when a full-scale war is going on in Ukraine, Ukrainians on the economic front need up-to-date knowledge and expertise to prepare for the post-war revival of our country.
In order to provide the Ukrainian business community with access to the global intellectual resources, MIM Business School, with support of its international partners, is launching a nationwide educational project, ReInforceUA: MIM Global Knowledge Hub.
Within the project, world-renowned intellectuals will give weekly online lectures on the most pressing issues of economic and business development for tens of thousands of Ukrainians.
The project is aimed at intellectual support and inspiration for the Ukrainian business community. Lectures will provide the knowledge needed to revive entrepreneurial activitis, support business and military, provide aid to civilians affected by the war, restore and strengthen the Ukrainian economy after Victory.
Project’s title partners are: Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation and AACSB, AMBA EFMD – the three most celebrated global associations in business and management education.
The project starts on June 15th at 6p.m. 18.00 (GMT+3). The first guest speaker will be Guy Standing, author of the basic income concept, a well-known labor economist and research professor at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and Universities of Bath (UK) and Monash (Australia). After a long career at the International Labour Organization, he was the director of its socio-economic security program.
Professor Standing is the founder and honorary co-president of the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN), an international non-governmental organization that promotes basic income as a right. The topic of his lecture – "Why basic income will be important for revival of the Ukrainian economy."
