Parcel and Postal Technology International Awards recognized Ukrposta as the service provider of the year to highlight the company’s work during the war. Yulia Pavlenko, Director of the International Operations Department and MIM-Kyiv SE MBA student received the award at the live ceremony in Frankfurt am Main. In her speech, Yulia Pavlenko praised her colleagues’ truly heroic work in the most unfavorable conditions of the war.

Ukrposhta has been operating in Ukraine since the second day of the war. It took the company only a week to provide international operations regardless of all air flights from Ukraine cancelation.

More than 900 branches of Ukrposhta were damaged by military actions. Nevertheless, it restructured its services and continued to offer them even in the war zones under the Russians’ shellings in Kharkiv oblast and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. 1700 new mobile branches offer the same range of services as the “normal” ones such as pensions and social grants payments, money transfers, utility payments processing, selling basic necessities, and parcels and press delivery.

DHL Group from Germany, Pos Malaysia from Malaysia, Cainiao Smart Logistics Network Limited, part of the Alibaba Group from China, and PostLocal were on the shortlist together with the Ukrposhta.
