BUSINESS LEARNING CENTER IN TAJIKISTAN IS LAUNCHED
09 November 2021
Business Learning Center Tajikistan (BLCT) opened in early November is an important step in MIM-Kyiv activities in Tajikistan. After 7 months of programs delivered for the SUE Tajinvest and State Export Agency of Tajikistan, the BLCT is ready to receive the new students.
Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM-Kyiv’s president, and Oleksii Vynogradov, MIM-Kyiv’s vice president participated in the opening ceremony. They also delivered two strategic sessions on growing business education in Tajikistan for Tajinvest and Export Agency respectively. The sessions were dedicated to elaborating the concept and strategy that accommodated the needs of SMEs, the export community, and local ways of doing business.
“We were happy to see how an understanding of objectives and opportunities provided by business education was advancing. Our colleagues better understand what kind of educational organization they want to create, who they are working for, and which programs are right for their audience. Besides, we discussed the next steps to secure the sustainability of the projects,” Prof. Tykhomyrova said.
Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) supports the project. Due to the GIZ assistance, the BLCT equipment allows both face-to-face and online sessions. It makes logistics easier for people who live in remote areas of the country. For MIM-Kyiv faculty it is an opportunity to use interactive instruments and work with the participants online. During the visit to Tajikistan, Ukrainian professors taught the participants to apply the interactive digital delivery methods and use the case methods.
MIM-Kyiv also signed the Memorandum on Cooperation with both the SUE Tajinvest and Export Agency of Tajikistan to continue the collaboration.
