MIM-Kyiv Delivers Visegrád Group Funded Program

26 April 2023

The Entrepreneurship program for women in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic has officially commenced with the support of the International Visegrad Fund. Iryna Tykhomyrova, President of MIM-Kyiv, emphasized the program's unique focus on assisting and developing the entrepreneurial skills of temporarily displaced women. Tailored to the specific challenges of each country, the program aims to empower participants in their business endeavors. Álvaro de la Rica Aspiunza from Deusto BS in Spain, along with Andrew Lock and George Iliev from AMBA and BGA, warmly welcomed the new students and expressed admiration for the resilience of Ukrainian women.

The program is structured in two parts. The academic block, delivered by MIM-Kyiv faculty, equips participants with essential knowledge and skills to create concise and investor-friendly business plans. The second part concentrates on the legal, regulatory, and operational aspects of conducting business in each respective country. With over 180 applicants, a rigorous selection process resulted in 60 students being chosen to participate. Throughout the two-month program, students will develop and publicly defend their business plans. Notably, participants will have continued access to program materials even after its completion, facilitating online networking through a dedicated chat platform and their involvement in a special conference for all applicants.
