Volunteering initiative 4.5.0. founded by MIM-Kyiv alumni has been working on military gear and medical supplies since 2014. Since the full-scale war it became clear that importing is not enough. Thus, launch of the manufacturing in Ukraine is only natural.

- We need funding. We are spending up to 20 thousand dollars per day. We are buying everything with our money. At this point we developed the technology and are ready to launch manufacturing. We are looking for the appropriate textiles, steel 400 – 600, etc. We are looking for long-term collaboration with manufacturers rather than placing an order here and an order there. Besides, it is a good business that keeps economy going, Serhii Shovkaluk, the founder and MIM-Kyiv MBA says.

He stresses that 4.5.0. initiative works with military units inly and controls every step in the delivery. Thus, every single item goes to the frontline.
