LEADERSHIP AND CORPROATE CULTURE UNDER UNCERTAINTY: MIM-KYIV’S WORKSHOP FOR UKRNAFTABURINNYA

27 September 2021

MIM-Kyiv’s director of the MBA and Pre-MBA “Management and Leadership” programs Oleksandr Sudarkin designed and delivered a two-module workshop on leadership and corporate culture for Ukrnaftoburinnya, one of the leading Ukrainian private oil and gas production companies.

“We have two main objectives: to understand what corporate or organizational culture, its elements are. Secondly, we will discuss the role of a leader in shaping the corporate culture and in running the organization,” Oleksandr said when introducing the workshop.

The second module of the workshop is scheduled for this November. It will be dedicated to managerial competencies and emotional leadership under uncertainty.

“Firstly, we want our managers to understand the meaning of corporate culture, values, employer’s brand, etc. Those are intangible things that assist in running businesses. Previously, we focused on other managerial priorities but now those elements are important for us. Having top management and employees on the same page is critical for us. We like how Oleksandr dismantles the complexity and makes everything understandable,” Svitlana Parova, head of the HR department for Ukrnaftoburinnya said.
