MIM Business School Helps Develop Management Teams
13 August 2021
Astarta-Kyiv, an agricultural industrial holding, has a long history with MIM Business School. Although several corporate programs have been delivered, the company’s management prefers to take open programs at MIM. Svitlana Mozgova, director of the HR, corporate partnerships and communications department, explained the principles of the partnership.
Why do you prefer that your managers join open programs rather than commissioning corporate programs?
Our partnership with MIM is broad, including all kinds of programs and projects. At this point, the diversity of experiences, industries and companies are important for us. The personnel turnover is low at Astarta-Kyiv. Our managers know the business inside and out. The chance to learn from other industries and businesses is very important for us.
MIM Business School is your long-term partner. What makes the cooperation work?
First of all, Victor Ivanchyk, our CEO, is a MIM alum. He laid the foundation for cooperation. His experience proves the high quality of education at MIM Business School. Secondly, our people praise the programs and learning experience highly. Moreover, MIM is very client-oriented.
How do you select new program participants?
There are two main criteria. The first is based on the annual assessment of our managers and their individual development plans. The second is when we offer a program as motivation.
What are the prospects of your cooperation with MIM Business School?
At this point, we plan to expand the outreach inside the company. At first, managers from core businesses would take programs. Now, managers from the elevator business are studying at MIM. We have vested businesses. It's safe to say that our partnership will continue.
How do you assess the performance of MIM Business School graduates?
They are high achievers. The projects they run always show top results.
