MIM-Kyiv Business School recognized Dr. Adizes Thinker of the Decade

On April 15 Dr. Adizes was given Thinker of the Decade Award at the community only ceremony in MIM-Kyiv.

Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM’s president introduced Dr. Adizes whose name has become legendary in Ukraine and explained his very special ties with MIM-Kyiv. “We have been cooperating with Dr. Adizes for many years. Back in 2005, it was MIM-Kyiv which hosted his first presentation in the ex-Soviet Union. MIM-Kyiv and Adizes Institute jointly developed Change Management and Company Diagnostics, top-management oriented programs. More than 1500 person took those programs in 5 years,” Prof. Tykhomyrova said.

Exactly 5 years ago, Dr. Adizes’s visited MIM-Kyiv to open the Change Management program. Previously, in 2014 MIM-Kyiv conferred its honorary doctorate to Dr. Adizes. This year He was recognized Thinker of the Decade. Dr. Adizes was the first who was awarded this title.

Dr. Ichak Calderon Adizes is a world-renowned management expert. For more than 40 years he has been developing and improving his own method which is used by Coca-Cola, Bank of America, Volvo, Visa Group, etc. Due to the Adizes method, corporations, governments, and complex organizations implement changes without devastating conflicts.

Dt. Adizes gave political advice to the governments of Sweden, Brazil, Greece, Israel, Iceland, Mexico and Macedonia. He founded Adizes Institute which is ranked among top 10 consulting companies. The Institute is present in 15 countries. Dr. Adizes authored more than 30 books. His Corporate Lifecycles: How and Why Corporations Grow and Die and What to Do about It is considered to be a classical textbook in managerial theory. Moreover, it was voted among 10 best books by the Library Journal. In 2018 his bestseller Mastering Change was released in Ukrainian for the first time.
