MIM-KYIV AND PROBONO CLUB NON-PROFIT SECTOR SUPPORT

30 May 2022

MIM-Kyiv students provided pro bono advice to the five NGOs as a part of the project implemented jointly with the ProBono Club.

“Various organizations from all over Ukraine and from across all economic sectors applied for the competition. All of them were mostly interested in marketing expertise namely competition, market analysis and promotion, management, in particular organizational development, teamwork, leadership and project management, and finance, specifically the reporting, fundraising and taxation,” Anastasia Holub, communication manager for the Pro Bono Club Ukraine.

The second-year MBA students advised Horizontal Ties civic organization that works with hospice patients and doctors, Magic Game, the social business that specializes in dialogue cards, Seniors charity fund that helps senior citizens, Green Box company that manufactures tools for garbage sorting, and the InSource Initiative Center that assists in small communities’ quality of life improvement.

- We named this project MBA4НКО or MBA for non-for-profit. We as a business school have institutional development expertise that non-for-profit lack and usually have no time or resources to develop. We try to create synergy, Oleksandr Sudarkin, MBA program director said.

ProBono Club Ukraine mentioned that they used a lot of instruments offered by MBA students. MBA students appreciated the new experience as well.
