BUSINESS EDUCATION BREAKS DOWN BORDERS

06 January 2022

Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM-Kyiv president was interviewed by Prisma Report on global business education. She talked about Central Asia projects, Ukrainian business, and business education. Iryna Tykhomyrova also shared the school’s experience of adaptation to the new normal and hybrid teaching and learning without compromising the quality. She believes that regardless of all the technological advancements, we are still human beings who need face-to-face communication.

- In late 2020, the EU requested our educational services for Central Asia. That’s how we started our project in Tajikistan. For us it is more than merely business, it is giving back. In 1990-ies Western schools helped us to grow. In 30-year time we are assisting other countries to launch their business education. We believe that by sharing our experience and responsible management principles we adhere to the CSR principles, Iryna Tykhomyrova said in her interview.

In her opinion, Ukrainian pharma, logistics, energy, IT, and media industries are on the rise as they commission various programs from MIM-Kyiv.

- Ukrainian business is not limited by the domestic market. Our students run operations throughout Europe. Many have global ambitions. Internationality for us is much more than the number of non-Ukrainians in our classes. Business is going beyond national borders and so do we. We are part of Europe and do our best to prove it, Iryna TYkhomyrova explained.
