On February 24, 2022, we were supposed to have yet another working day, but instead we woke up to the sound of explosions, rather than our alarm clocks. The Russians had invaded Ukraine. Like many other university campuses in Ukraine, our building was damaged due to the Russians' shelling. Sadly, Iryna Tsvila, one of our students for only 10 days, was killed while defending Kyiv. The Russians captured and tortured Oleh Moskalenko, one of our professors, but fortunately, he managed to escape.

To protect our community in the early days of the war, we launched several online projects, including MIM Economic Font, МІМ Toolbox, and the English Speaking Club. In April 2022, we restarted our programs and regular work, updating our existing programs and introducing three new Pre-MBA programs in September 2022, as well as corporate programs.

In June 2022, we launched ReInforce.UA, an international educational project that provides businesses with access to the latest global ideas and best intellectual resources. As part of the project, we are collecting money to support Ukrainian displaced women. Prominent intellectuals such as Guy Standing, Yuval Noah Harari, Alex Osterwalder, and Philip Kotler have spoken to our participants for free. Join us at https://reinforceua.com.

To protect ourselves from intensified missile attacks, we have equipped several shelters with electricity and internet, allowing us to continue working even during shelling and electricity outages.

We have ambitious plans for the future, including conducting an international educational forum, ReInforceUA, to discuss Ukraine's restoration agenda, and hosting a program for the next generation of Ukrainian political, civil society, and business leaders who will lead economic recovery after our victory.
